Algunas marcas requieren un refresh sutil, que la gente apenas nota meses despu\u00e9s. Pero otras necesitan ir a lo grande, y no creo haber visto ninguna hacer tanto ruido como Old Jamaica.<\/p>\n<p>La marca de ginger beer brit\u00e1nica no anunci\u00f3 su rebrand con bombo y platillos; en su lugar, organiz\u00f3 un adi\u00f3s de ocho meses a su identidad anterior. Esto incluy\u00f3 una gira de despedida, acrobacias para cumplir su lista de deseos y un reloj regresivo mostrando cu\u00e1ntas latas quedaban.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"hawk-root\" data-block-type=\"embed\" data-render-type=\"fte\" data-skip=\"dealsy\" data-widget-type=\"seasonal\" data-widget-id=\"f10ace54-7792-47dd-84ac-2a027fcc2627\" data-result=\"missing\"><\/aside>\n<p id=\"a440faad-4414-420e-9b5c-d61966ff5e7e-2\" class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\">Los aficionados se sintieron consternados y las latas aparecieron en eBay a precios inflados, hasta que se revel\u00f3 que solo se iba a retirar la \u2018antigua\u2019 marca Old Jamaica. Entonces comenz\u00f3 el adelanto del nuevo dise\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\">Es la primera vez que recuerdo que una marca haya escenificado su propia muerte para recordar a la gente cu\u00e1nto les gusta. La comparaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s cercana ser\u00eda cuando M&amp;M\u2019s anunci\u00f3 brevemente la retirada de sus \u2018spokescandies\u2019 tras el absurdo esc\u00e1ndalo del M&amp;M verde. \u00bfFue arriesgado? Claro. \u00bfY si a nadie le importaba? Porque lo sutil no impacta, y Old Jamaica no pod\u00eda ser m\u00e1s explosiva, burbujeante y atrevida. Es una bebida llena de personalidad, oculta en una lata que parec\u00eda totalmente anticuada. La arrastramos hacia 2025 a lo grande: con color, caos, actitud y estilo propio.<\/p>\n<p class=\"inline-gallery first-slide-only\" data-hydrate=\"true\">Esto es Carnaval en lata; la antigua versi\u00f3n era m\u00e1s \u201cc\u00e1rdigan\u201d. Si vas a hacer un cambio de imagen, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 no ir a por todas? Busc\u00e1bamos un \u201cmic drop moment\u201d, una forma de honrar el pasado de la marca, no de fingir que nunca existi\u00f3. La idea de \u201cretirar\u201d Old Jamaica surgi\u00f3 de un desaf\u00edo simple: hacer algo que, hasta donde sab\u00edamos, nadie hab\u00eda hecho antes, y hacerlo con estilo. Si vas a matar una marca, no puedes hacerlo con discreci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p class=\"inline-gallery first-slide-only\" data-hydrate=\"true\">Fuimos a lo grande: murales, memes y videos irreverentes. Quer\u00edamos que la gente echara de menos Old Jamaica, apelando a las emociones de los fans. Que la marca confiara plenamente en nuestra visi\u00f3n en SAMY nos permiti\u00f3 arriesgarnos y hacerlo a lo grande.
